The short version
Ian was 21 with a truck, some basic equipment, and one goal that had nothing to do with landscaping: build something of his own and give people in the area a job. That was February 2025. The company grew on referrals and repeat customers, which is a slow way to grow and a hard one to fake.
What we chose to be good at
Ian did not hire generalists. He hired for one skill set: plants, lawn conversions and irrigation. That is a narrower company than most landscapers run, and it is narrow on purpose.
The question he gets asked more than any other is not about price. It is some version of "do you have experience with this type of work." Specialising is the only honest way to answer yes. It also means that on the jobs outside that lane, we say so instead of learning on somebody's yard.
We are a company people feel they can build a relationship with and be their go-to guy. Ian Regis, owner
Why we write everything down
Homeowners get burned by vague operators constantly. Somebody says the trench was deep enough. Somebody says they checked for lines. Nobody can prove any of it afterwards.
So we document. Dig depths recorded. Grades measured and written down. Utilities located and marked before a shovel moves, every time, including on the small jobs where nobody would notice if we skipped it. Progress photos as the work happens, which also turn out to be exactly what the water district asks for when you claim your rebate.
None of that is glamorous. It is just the difference between a job you can stand behind and a job you hope nobody looks at closely.
Our Commitment to Your Landscape
We believe in being clear about what we can confidently stand behind. Plant health and long-term survival depend on ongoing care, including proper watering and maintenance after installation, so we provide guidance rather than making promises that are outside our control.
Every installation comes with a customized care document detailing the specific plants in your yard and the care they need to thrive. It’s written to be practical and easy to follow for the person responsible for maintaining the landscape.
Most importantly, we stand behind our work. Everything we install and everything we build is completed with the care, craftsmanship, and professional service we bring to every project.
