How much is your strip worth?

Most park strips run 200 to 600 square feet. Drag it to about the size of yours and pick your city.

400 sq ft

At $2.50 a square foot for Farmington.

This is an estimate of the rebate, not a quote for the work, and the water district has the final say. The number that matters more is the one below it.

Apply and get approved before the lawn comes out. Remove it first and the money is gone.

A shaped evergreen hedge planted along a sidewalk, with the planting rather than the rock doing the work
The real question

Rock is a material. It is not a plan.

The yards people regret all look the same. Grass out, gravel in, nothing growing. It reads as cheap from the street and it is the first thing a buyer notices.

It also does not qualify for the rebate, because the programme requires plants and bans artificial turf. We design the planting first and let the rock do what rock is good at, which is holding the ground still and keeping the water in.

How we work

Four things that happen on every job.

A Lawn and Order crew member digging out a planting strip beside a house
01

We locate.

Blue stakes before shovels. Every line on the property found and marked, every time, including the ones nobody remembered were there.

A Lawn and Order crew member working at ground level in a park strip
02

We measure.

Dig depths and grades written down as we go. You get the numbers, not a promise that it was done right.

A crew member laying river rock over weed fabric along a foundation strip
03

We build.

Soil, plants and mulch from Davis County suppliers. Sod from a family farm, cut the morning it goes down.

A finished front lawn on a corner lot with the Wasatch range behind it
04

We hand it over.

You get a plant care document for exactly what is in your yard, and the job is not finished until you say it is.

Since February 2025

Ian started this at 21 with a truck.

The company is a year and a half old. Ian hired for one skill set on purpose: plants, lawn conversions and irrigation.

That is why the answer to "do you have experience with this" is usually yes, and why on the rare job where it is no, you get told that too.

We are a company people feel they can build a relationship with and be their go-to guy. Ian Regis, owner

Questions we Hear Often

Do you have experience with this type of work?

Absolutely. We have 1.5 years of experience in the business and have built our reputation around specialized, hands-on service. We’re passionate about what we do, continually refine our skills, and bring a careful, professional approach to every project.

Will it end up looking like a parking lot?

Not if it is designed. The rebate programme itself requires living plants and does not allow artificial turf, so a bare gravel strip fails on both taste and paperwork.

Do you handle the rebate paperwork?

No, and be careful of anyone who says they do. You file it with the water district yourself, which keeps the money and the approval in your name. What we do is design and build to the programme's requirements so the work qualifies, and tell you to apply before we start.

What if the plants die?

We believe in being clear about what we can confidently stand behind. Plant health and long-term survival depend on ongoing care, including proper watering and maintenance after installation, so we provide guidance rather than making promises that are outside our control.

Every installation comes with a customized care document detailing the specific plants in your yard and the care they need to thrive. It’s written to be practical and easy to follow for the person responsible for maintaining the landscape.

Most importantly, we stand behind our work. Everything we install and everything we build is completed with the care, craftsmanship, and professional service we bring to every project.

How fast will someone call me back?

Same day, or the next business day if you reach out over the weekend.

What does a job cost?

Ranges are on this page rather than hidden. Park strips start at $1,800, sod at $600, irrigation work at $160. The exact number needs eyes on the yard.
